Method

Preparation

  2. Set aside 1 cup of batter and spread the rest over the cooled crust.

  1. Heat 30 kisses and milk in the microwave on 50% power until melted, then stir in food coloring into reserved batter.
  2. Spoon the peppermint mixture over the cheesecake and swirl gently with a knife.
Bake and Chill
  1. Bake for 45-50 minutes until center is slightly jiggly, then cool slowly in the oven with the door cracked for 20-30 minutes.
  2. Loosen edges with a knife, cool completely at room temperature, and chill before removing springform sides.
Finish and Serve
  1. Once chilled, chop most remaining candy kisses and sprinkle over the top.
  2. Beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla to stiff peaks, pipe around the cheesecake, and add peppermint bark.

Notes

For the best texture, let cream cheese soften at room temperature before mixing. Avoid overmixing the batter to prevent cracks. Can substitute ingredients for variations.
