Preparation
- Place the cut fries in a large bowl filled with cold water. Let them soak for 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
- After soaking, drain the water and pat the fries completely dry with a clean kitchen towel or paper towels.
- In a large bowl, toss the dried fries with olive oil, kosher salt, and black pepper.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F.
- Arrange the fries in a single layer inside the air fryer basket; avoid overcrowding.
- Air fry the fries for 12 minutes. Then, carefully shake or stir the basket and continue cooking for another 8 to 10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- While the fries are cooking, stir the minced garlic into the melted unsalted butter.
- Transfer the hot fries to a large bowl, pour the garlic butter over them, and toss well to coat every fry.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top and toss again to allow the cheese to melt slightly.
Serving
- Garnish the fries with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately with your choice of dipping sauce.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for best results.
