For the Dip
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it's softened to room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Choose a good quality mozzarella for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved Use fresh cherry tomatoes for best results.
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped Can substitute with oregano or parsley if desired.
  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze Drizzle over the dip before serving.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Season adequately to enhance flavors.
For Serving
  • Tortilla chips or crusty bread Great for dipping into the warm dip.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, halved cherry tomatoes, chopped basil leaves, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until well combined and creamy.
  3. Transfer the creamy mixture into a baking dish and spread it out evenly.
Cooking
  1. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbling and golden brown on top.
  2. Remove the dip from the oven and drizzle balsamic glaze over the top before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3 days. You can freeze the dip for up to 2 months, reheat gently on low heat.
