Ingredients
  

For the Lemon Herb Butter
  • 2 tablespoons butter Softened
  • 1 whole lemon (juiced and zested)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill (chopped)
For the Halibut
  • 4 pieces halibut fillets Fresh
  • Salt and pepper to taste For seasoning
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Choose a baking dish that will fit your halibut fillets comfortably.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, lemon juice, zest, minced garlic, parsley, and dill. Mix well until everything is thoroughly combined.
  3. Arrange the halibut fillets in the baking dish. Season each fillet generously with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread the lemon herb butter mixture evenly over the top of each halibut fillet.
  5. Drizzle a little olive oil over the fish.
Baking
  1. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Serving
  1. Remove the halibut from the oven, serve hot, and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. You can freeze baked halibut for up to 2 months.
