Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- Stir in the sliced red onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Roll out the pizza crust on a floured surface to your desired thickness and transfer to a pizza stone or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the barbecue sauce evenly over the pizza crust.
- Distribute the cooked ground beef and onion mixture on top, and finish with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Cooking
- Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- After baking, allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
