Preparation
- Begin by lining an 8x8 pan with parchment paper for easy removal of the fudge.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter over low heat.
- Stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Remove from heat and stir in the butterscotch extract, butterscotch chips, and a pinch of salt.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours until firm.
- Once set, lift the fudge out using the parchment paper and cut into small squares.
Notes
Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or freeze for 3 months. Reheat gently if desired. Take care not to rush the melting process to avoid bitterness.
