  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk Provides a velvety texture.

  • 1/4 cup butterscotch chips For additional flavor and texture.
  • 2 tbsp butter Can be replaced with coconut oil for dairy-free version.
  • 1 pinch salt Balances the sweetness.
  • cream soda extract (optional) Gives a fizzy twist.

Preparation
  1. Begin by lining an 8x8 pan with parchment paper for easy removal of the fudge.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter over low heat.
  3. Stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the butterscotch extract, butterscotch chips, and a pinch of salt.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours until firm.
  7. Once set, lift the fudge out using the parchment paper and cut into small squares.

Notes

Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or freeze for 3 months. Reheat gently if desired. Take care not to rush the melting process to avoid bitterness.
