Method

Preparation
  1. Blend the Orange Layer: Add 1 cup of the vanilla ice cream, 1/3 cup of the milk, the melted orange candy melts, and 2 teaspoons of sugar to a blender. Blend on medium speed for 20 to 30 seconds until the mixture is smooth and thick. Then divide it evenly among the bottoms of the 4 glasses.
  2. Chill the First Layer: Place the glasses in the freezer for 8 to 10 minutes to help the orange layer firm up.
  3. Make the Yellow Layer: Add 1 cup of vanilla ice cream, 1/3 cup of milk, vanilla extract, and the remaining sugar to the blender. Blend until smooth, then add a few drops of yellow gel food coloring and blend briefly to achieve a bright color.
  4. Add the Yellow Layer and Chill Again: Remove the glasses from the freezer. Gently pour the yellow milkshake mixture over the orange layer, using a spoon to control the flow. Freeze the glasses for another 8 to 10 minutes.
  5. Blend the White Layer and Finish the Float: Rinse the blender and blend 1 cup of vanilla ice cream with 1/3 cup of milk until smooth. Pour this white layer over the yellow layer in each glass.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Slowly pour 1/4 cup of chilled cream soda down the side of each glass. Top with whipped cream and candy corn. Serve immediately.

Notes

Best enjoyed right away. If needed, keep glasses in the fridge for up to 1 day, but layers will soften. Blend the layers separately and freeze them if necessary for longer storage.
