Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease your skull-shaped molds with cooking spray.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine dark chocolate chips and butter. Melt together in increments of 20-30 seconds, stirring frequently until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, egg yolks, and sugar for about 2 minutes until pale and thick.
- Fold the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, then gently fold in the flour and salt until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the molds, filling them about three-quarters full.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, ensuring the edges are set but the center remains soft.
- Allow to cool for 1 minute, then carefully unmold the cakes.
Serving
- Serve warm with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Notes
