Ingredients

For the beef mixture
  • 1 lb ground beef Use ground beef with at least 80% lean content.
  • 1 medium onion, chopped Can substitute with caramelized onions for sweetness.
  • 1/2 cup ketchup A homemade BBQ sauce can be used for a smoky twist.
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp mustard Dijon mustard can add a tangy kick.
  • 1 tsp brown sugar Can be replaced with honey or maple syrup.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For the sliders
  • 12 brioche slider buns Whole wheat or gluten-free buns can be used.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, combine the ground beef and chopped onion. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion becomes soft, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Carefully drain any excess fat from the skillet.
  3. Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, brown sugar, and season with salt and pepper. Mix and let it simmer for about 5-10 minutes.
  4. Slice the brioche buns in half and toast them until they are golden brown.
  5. Generously spoon the beef mixture onto the bottom half of each toasted brioche bun and cap with the top half.
  6. Serve immediately while warm.
