- In a large skillet over medium heat, combine the ground beef and chopped onion. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion becomes soft, about 5-7 minutes.
- Carefully drain any excess fat from the skillet.
- Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, brown sugar, and season with salt and pepper. Mix and let it simmer for about 5-10 minutes.
- Slice the brioche buns in half and toast them until they are golden brown.
- Generously spoon the beef mixture onto the bottom half of each toasted brioche bun and cap with the top half.
- Serve immediately while warm.
Notes
Leftover Sloppy Joe mixture can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and can be frozen for up to 2-3 months. Reheat on the stovetop or in the microwave.
