Cocktail Ingredients
  • 2 oz gin
  • 4-5 oz tonic water, chilled Chill the tonic water before use.
  • ice cubes Fill the glass with plenty of ice.
  • 1 piece lime wheel, for garnish Garnish adds a fresh citrus flavor.
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary, for garnish (optional) Adds an optional herbal aroma.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Fill a highball glass with plenty of ice cubes.
  2. Pour 2 oz gin over the ice.
  3. Slowly pour in 4-5 oz chilled tonic water until the glass is full.
  4. Gently stir the drink just once or twice to combine.
  5. Garnish with 1 lime wheel and optional rosemary sprig.
  6. Serve immediately while the drink is cold and fizzy.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. Adjust the gin-to-tonic ratio to preference. Avoid using warm tonic water to maintain carbonation.
