Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather all ingredients to streamline the process.
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, milk, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well-combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and transfer it to a baking dish.
Baking
- Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, checking for an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut it into long strips.
- Once the meatloaf is cooked, carefully wrap the dough strips around it, leaving gaps for the eyes.
- Add cheese slices for eyes and squirt ketchup in the gaps for decoration.
- Return the meatloaf to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown.

Notes
