  • to taste Mustard or ketchup (for eyes) Add as desired for decoration.
  • optional Cooking spray For greasing the baking sheet.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or spraying it lightly with cooking spray.
  2. Unroll the pre-made crescent dough on a clean surface and cut it into thin strips, about half an inch wide, using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
Cooking
  1. Wrap each hot dog with the strips of crescent dough, covering most of the hot dog while leaving gaps for the eyes.
  2. Place the wrapped hot dogs on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring there's enough space between them for even cooking.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes until the dough is golden brown. Monitor closely to avoid overcooking.
  4. After baking, use mustard or ketchup to create eyes on the mummies before serving.

Notes

These hot dogs can be served with sides like tomato soup, veggie sticks with ranch dressing, or chips. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze wrapped unbaked hot dogs for up to 2 months.
