Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 large large flour tortillas (10-inch) Can substitute with whole wheat tortillas for extra fiber.
  • 1/3 cup ranch dressing, plus more for serving Add extra ranch dressing for dipping.
  • 8 oz thinly sliced deli turkey Choose a mild flavor.
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked crisp Swap with turkey bacon for a lighter option.
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese Alternate cheeses: monterey jack, provolone, or pepper jack.
  • 2 cups shredded romaine lettuce Can substitute with spinach or spring mix.
  • 1 cup diced tomato Avoid adding until serving if making ahead.
  • 1 medium avocado, sliced Add just before serving to prevent softness.

Method

Preparation
  1. Warm the tortillas briefly so they become soft and flexible. You can do this in a dry skillet over medium heat for 20 to 30 seconds per side, or wrap them in a damp paper towel and microwave for 15 to 20 seconds.
  2. Lay each tortilla flat on a clean work surface. Spread about 1 1/2 tablespoons of ranch dressing evenly over each one, leaving a small border.
  3. Layer the turkey evenly over the ranch on each tortilla.
  4. Place 2 slices of crispy bacon on each tortilla, then sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the turkey and bacon.
  5. Top each wrap with shredded romaine, diced tomato, and sliced avocado, keeping the filling toward the lower third of the tortilla.
  6. Fold in the sides of each tortilla and roll tightly from the bottom up to make a compact wrap.
  7. Slice each wrap in half diagonally for a clean cut. Serve with extra ranch dressing on the side.

Notes

For optimal results, do not skip warming the tortillas to prevent cracking. Use a thin layer of ranch to keep the wrap from becoming soggy. Assemble fresh ingredients (tomato and avocado) just before serving if preparing in advance.
