Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, chilled Use a bold roast and chill overnight for best results.
  • 1 cup milk Can use almond milk, oat milk, or soy milk for a lactose-free version.
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar Can substitute with honey, maple syrup, or agave syrup.
  • 1.5 cups ice Use fresh and firm ice.
Toppings
  • as desired whipped cream For topping.
  • as desired chocolate syrup For drizzling.

Method

Preparation
  1. Brew 1 cup of strong coffee using your method of choice. Pour it into a container and place it in the refrigerator until fully chilled.
Blending
  1. Add the chilled brewed coffee, 1 cup of milk, 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar, and 1.5 cups of ice to your blender.
  2. Blend the mixture on high for 45 to 60 seconds until thick and frothy with no ice chunks remaining.
Serving
  1. Pour the blended frappes evenly into two tall glasses, pouring gently to maintain the froth on top.
  2. Top each glass with a generous swirl of whipped cream and drizzle chocolate syrup over the whipped cream.
  3. Serve immediately with a straw.

Notes

Best served immediately as it does not store well once blended. Avoid over-blending to maintain a thick texture.
