  • 8 oz pasta Cook according to package directions.
  • 6 slices bacon (cooked, crumbled)
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup sour cream Can substitute with Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar Can experiment with different cheese types.
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • salt and pepper To taste.
  • green onions For topping.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the pasta according to package directions, drain and set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cooked pasta, ranch dressing, sour cream, milk, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  3. Gently fold in half of the crumbled bacon and 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish, spread it out evenly, and sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  6. Remove from the oven, top with the remaining bacon and chopped green onions. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

This casserole is versatile; you can add vegetables or use turkey instead of chicken. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
