  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Herbs
  • 1 tablespoon fresh herbs (like basil, parsley, or thyme), chopped

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a food processor, combine the ricotta cheese, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy, being careful not to over-blend.
  2. Add the chopped fresh herbs to the processor and pulse briefly to incorporate them into the mixture.
  3. Transfer the creamy dip to a serving bowl and drizzle a little extra olive oil on top for added richness.
  4. Serve the dip with an assortment of crackers or fresh vegetables.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. This dip can also be frozen for up to 2 months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before using.
