  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Can be substituted with avocado oil or melted coconut oil.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Fresh minced garlic can be used for a stronger flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese Nutritional yeast is a dairy-free alternative.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Sea salt or pink Himalayan salt can be used.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper White pepper can be used for a milder taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika Smoked paprika adds a different flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Peel the carrots and cut them into fry-shaped pieces, ensuring they are uniform in size.
Cooking
  1. In a large bowl, combine the carrot fries with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, paprika, and grated Parmesan cheese. Toss until well-coated.
  2. Spread the seasoned carrot fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, giving them space to cook evenly.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.
  4. Remove from the oven and garnish with parsley if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

For best results, store leftover fries in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze for up to three months. Reheat in a toaster oven for best crispiness.
