Ingredients

Chicken Wings
  • 2 pounds chicken wings Look for well-fleshed wings with a uniform size.
Cheese and Spices
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese For a sharper flavor, consider using pecorino Romano.
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder For a more robust flavor, fresh garlic can be used.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Smoked paprika can add an extra depth of flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt Consider using a salt-free seasoning mix for lower sodium.
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Oil
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Avocado oil can be used as a substitute for a different taste.
Garnish
  • fresh parsley Used for garnish before serving.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken wings, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until all wings are well-coated.
  3. Spread the seasoned wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
  1. Bake the wings for 40-45 minutes, turning them halfway through for even cooking.
  2. Once golden brown and crispy, remove them from the oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  3. Return the wings to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes to let the cheese melt.
Serving
  1. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet for uniform crispiness. Preheat the oven adequately to prevent soggy wings, and add Parmesan cheese towards the end of baking.
