Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness and cut into thin strips.
- Wrap the pastry strips around each chicken tender, overlapping slightly.
- Place the wrapped tenders on the lined baking sheet.
- Prepare the egg wash by whisking the egg with a bit of water and brush it over the pastry.
- Sprinkle the wrapped chicken tenders with parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown and the chicken is cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken tenders rest for a few minutes before serving with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For added creativity, serve with a variety of dipping sauces. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
