  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce Can replace with soy sauce for a different flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Go easy on additional salt due to gravy mix.

Preparation
  1. Begin by seasoning the cube steaks generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Place the seasoned cube steaks into your slow cooker. Add the sliced onion on top.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the beef broth, brown gravy mix, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
  4. Pour the gravy mixture over the steaks and onions in the slow cooker. Cover with the lid.
  5. Set the cooker to low heat and allow it to cook for 6-7 hours, or until the steaks are fork-tender.
  6. Once cooked, you can either shred the steaks with two forks or leave them whole.
  7. Spoon the rich gravy generously over the meat before serving.
  8. Serve the cube steaks and gravy over mashed cauliflower or egg noodles.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. This dish freezes well for up to 3 months.
