Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a blender or food processor, combine the ripe avocados, cocoa powder, maple syrup or honey, almond milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Blend all the ingredients until completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the blender as needed.
  3. Taste the mousse and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more maple syrup or honey, then blend again.
  4. Transfer the mousse into individual serving bowls or a larger container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Serve chilled, topped with fresh berries, coconut cream, or a sprinkle of nuts.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
