Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare your baking dish.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in the baking dish, spaced evenly apart.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in the fresh lemon juice with the garlic butter, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the salmon fillets, ensuring each is coated.
  6. Top the salmon with lemon slices.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Ensure not to overcook the salmon. The garlic should not be cooked for too long in the butter to avoid bitterness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Freeze for longer storage for up to 2 months.
