Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the buttermilk until just mixed.
  5. Knead gently on a floured surface, then roll out to about 1 inch thick.
  6. Cut the dough into circles and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
