Ingredients
Method
Make the Cranberry Syrup
- Combine the water, sugar, and cranberries in a small pot over medium heat. Stir occasionally and let the mixture simmer for about 2 minutes until the sugar dissolves and the cranberries burst.
Let the Flavor Steep
- Remove the pot from heat and let the syrup steep for 5 minutes to deepen the flavor and color.
Blend Until Smooth
- Use an immersion blender to blend the mixture until smooth. Be cautious if using a regular blender with warm ingredients.
Strain and Mix With Lemonade
- Strain the syrup if preferred, then pour it into a pitcher with the lemonade. Stir well and refrigerate until cold.
Chill and Serve
- Once cold, stir the lemonade again before pouring it over ice in glasses and serving immediately.
Notes
Best served cold. Store in an airtight container for 5-7 days. Can freeze cranberry syrup separately for up to 2 months.
