  • 1 tsp salt Adjust if using salted butter.
  • 1.5 cups chocolate chips For an extra gooey texture.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the melted butter and sugar together until combined.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking until each is fully integrated before adding the next.
  4. Stir in the cocoa powder until the mixture is smooth.
Mixing Ingredients
  1. Gently fold in the flour and salt until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  2. Fold in the chocolate chips evenly throughout the batter.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  2. Bake for 28 to 30 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick. It should come out with a few moist crumbs.
Serving
  1. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
  2. Serve each piece with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream.
