Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine unsalted butter and dark chocolate chips. Stir until melted and smooth, then let cool slightly.
- Stir in the granulated sugar until well combined. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Finally, stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, sift together cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry mixture to the chocolate mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. The brownies are done when a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 5-7 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave for 10-15 seconds.
