  • 48 pieces square pretzel snaps (waffle-style) Use high-quality, sturdy varieties for the best results.
  • 48 pieces chocolate Hershey's Hugs candies, unwrapped Ensure they are unwrapped before use.
  • 48 pieces red and green M&M's candies Use for festive color; can substitute with different candies.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°F. Prepare a large baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Place the pretzel snaps in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet and space them slightly apart.
  3. Take one unwrapped Hershey's Hug candy and place it pointed-side up in the center of each pretzel.
Baking
  1. Bake the pretzels in the preheated oven for 3 to 4 minutes, keeping a close watch until the chocolate looks soft but maintains its shape.
  2. Once out of the oven, press one M&M candy gently but firmly into the center of each softened chocolate Hug.
Cooling
  1. Let the candies sit at room temperature for 15 to 20 minutes, allowing the chocolate to re-harden fully.
  2. Once cooled, they are ready to be enjoyed.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks. Can freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave for just a few seconds if desired.
