  • 4 tablespoons butter can substitute with olive oil or avocado oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced can substitute with garlic powder if needed
  • Salt and pepper to taste be generous for enhanced flavor
  • Lemon wedges for serving lime can be used as an alternative
  • Parsley for garnish fresh dill or cilantro can be used instead

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the tilapia fillets and asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Making Garlic Butter
  1. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, being careful not to let it burn.
Seasoning and Baking
  1. Drizzle the garlic butter over the tilapia and asparagus, and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the tilapia flakes easily and the asparagus is tender and vibrant green.
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven, squeeze fresh lemon wedges over the dish, and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can freeze the cooked tilapia and asparagus for up to 2 months.
