Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 6 hard-boiled eggs Use large, fresh eggs for the best flavor.
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise Can substitute with Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
  • 1 tablespoon mustard Dijon or honey mustard can be used for different flavors.
  • salt and pepper You can use garlic powder or smoked paprika for a twist.
Spooky Decorations
  • 1 black grapes (halved) Mimic spider bodies.
  • pretzel sticks For spider legs; consider veggie sticks as a healthier alternative.
  • candy eyes Alternatively, use small chocolate chips or cheese bits.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by halving the hard-boiled eggs lengthwise. Carefully scoop out the yolks and place them in a bowl.
  2. Mash the egg yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper until the mixture is creamy and smooth.
  3. Transfer the egg yolk mixture to a piping bag or a zip-top bag with a corner snipped off. Pipe the creamy filling back into each egg white half generously.
  4. Take the halved black grapes and place them cut-side down on top of the deviled eggs to create the spider bodies.
  5. Insert small pieces of pretzel sticks around the grapes to mimic spider legs.
  6. Finally, press tiny candy eyes onto the grapes to give them a spooky, fun look.
  7. Cover the platter and refrigerate until you are ready to serve.

Notes
