  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 6-8 lemons)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar Can be substituted with honey or agave syrup.
  • 4 cups cold water Sparkling water can be used for a fizzy twist.
  • 1/2 cup blue curacao syrup or green food coloring Add a few drops of food coloring to taste.
  • Lime wheels, for garnish
  • Ice cubes, as needed

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large pitcher, pour the fresh lemon juice and add the granulated sugar. Stir continuously until most of the sugar dissolves.
  2. Pour in the cold water and stir thoroughly to combine.
  3. Slowly add green food coloring or blue curacao syrup, a few drops at a time, mixing well until you achieve the desired color.
  4. Taste your lemonade and adjust the sweetness or tartness as needed by adding more sugar, water, or lemon juice.
  5. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the lemonade over the ice. Garnish with lime wheels.
  6. If there are leftovers, pour back into the pitcher, cover, and refrigerate for up to 3 days.

This drink is perfect for Halloween parties, family gatherings, or a refreshing treat after fall activities. For best results, serve over ice.
