Ingredients
  

For the marinade
  • 1/4 cup olive oil Extra virgin olive oil recommended
  • 2 lemons Juice of 2 lemons Fresh juice preferred
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
For the skewers
  • 2 pounds chicken breast, cut into cubes Use fresh, high-quality chicken
  • Skewers (soaked in water if wooden) Soaking prevents burning

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium-sized bowl, mix together olive oil, juice of 2 lemons, dried oregano, and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Add the cubed chicken breast to the marinade and coat well. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Grilling
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto soaked skewers, leaving space between pieces.
  3. Grill skewers for about 10 to 15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. Serve the skewers hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

For best results, allow enough marinade time and avoid overcooking the chicken. Use a meat thermometer for accurate cooking.
