Ingredients
  

For the Kabobs
  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into 1-inch cubes Choose cuts for flavor and tenderness.
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into bite-sized pieces For sweetness.
  • 1 onion, cut into wedges For depth of flavor.
  • 1 zucchini, sliced For lighter texture.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For marinade.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce For flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For seasoning.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika For a slight smokiness.
  • to taste salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • Skewers (wooden or metal) Wooden skewers need soaking.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper into a marinade.
  3. Add steak cubes and chopped vegetables to the marinade. Toss until well coated and let them marinate for 30 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Thread the marinated steak and vegetables alternately onto skewers, leaving space between each for even cooking.
  3. Place skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak reaches desired doneness.
Serving
  1. Carefully remove the kabobs from the grill and serve hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

Pair kabobs with Greek salad, rice pilaf, or grilled corn on the cob. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for 2-3 months.
