Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 cup guacamole Use homemade for fresher taste, if desired.
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup salsa Make sure to drain excess liquid to prevent a runny dip.
  • 2 cups shredded cheese Choose regular or dairy-free options.
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (thinned with milk) For the spiderweb drizzle.
  • 1 whole black olive Used as the 'spider'.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by spreading the can of refried beans evenly at the bottom of a large serving dish.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the sour cream with the taco seasoning until well blended. Spread this mixture over the refried beans.
  3. Add a layer of guacamole over the taco-seasoned sour cream, followed by a generous scoop of salsa.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheese across the entire surface of the dip.
  5. Thin the remaining sour cream with a splash of milk. Pipe it in a spiral pattern on top of the cheese layer and use a toothpick to create the spiderweb design.
  6. Place the black olive in the center of the spiderweb.
  7. Chill the dip in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving with tortilla chips.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. It’s not recommended to freeze due to texture changes. If reheating, do so gently.
