Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces ripe avocados
  • 0.25 cup red onion (diced)
  • 2 pieces Roma tomatoes (diced)
  • 1 piece jalapeño (minced)
  • 0.25 cup cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • to taste salt
  • as needed tortilla chips shaped like witch hats or bats

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by cutting the ripe avocados in half and removing the pits. Scoop the flesh into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Mash with a fork or potato masher until you reach your desired creaminess, whether chunky or smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the diced red onion, Roma tomatoes, minced jalapeño, and chopped cilantro. Combine them carefully, ensuring everything is well-distributed.
  4. Pour in the lime juice and sprinkle with salt. Stir well to mix the flavors, tasting as you go to adjust seasoning to your liking.
  5. If you have a bowl shaped like a cauldron, consider transferring the guacamole into it for a fun presentation. Otherwise, any serving dish will work just fine.
  6. For an extra festive touch, use cookie cutters to create shapes from tortilla tortillas. You can fry or bake these for a crispy addition to your guacamole.
  7. Serve the prepared guacamole alongside your Halloween-shaped chips and enjoy the festive spirit!

Notes

Store leftover guacamole in the refrigerator for up to 2 days with plastic wrap touching the surface to minimize air exposure. For longer storage, freeze for up to 3 months.
