Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 6 pieces eggs
  • 1 bowl ice water bath Ice water for cooling the eggs after cooking.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 270°F and prepare the air fryer basket by ensuring it is clean and dry.
  2. Place the 6 eggs directly in the basket in a single layer for even cooking.
Cooking
  1. Cook the eggs in the preheated air fryer at 270°F for 15-17 minutes.
  2. Check the eggs around the 12-minute mark if you prefer a softer yolk.
Cooling
  1. While the eggs are cooking, prepare an ice water bath by filling a bowl with cold water and ice.
  2. Once the cooking time is up, transfer the eggs into the ice water bath and let them sit for 10 minutes.
Peeling
  1. After the eggs have cooled, hold each egg under running water while peeling to help prevent tearing of the egg white.
Storage
  1. Store the peeled or unpeeled eggs in a covered container in the fridge, best eaten within a week.

Notes

For best results, use eggs that are a few days old for easy peeling. Consider adding vinegar to the water for flavor while peeling. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket for even cooking.
