  • 1 cup milk (or almond milk) Almond milk can be used for a dairy-free option.
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt Use low-fat or non-fat for a lighter option.
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds Chia seeds can be substituted with ground flaxseed.
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional) Can be replaced with maple syrup or agave nectar.
  • 1/2 cup mixed fresh berries Try strawberries, blueberries, raspberries or any berries of your choice.
  • 1 pinch salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mason jar or bowl, combine rolled oats, milk (or almond milk), Greek yogurt, chia seeds, and a pinch of salt. Add honey if desired, and stir well to mix evenly.
  2. Gently add mixed fresh berries on top of the mixture.
  3. Cover the jar or bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate to soak overnight.
  4. In the morning, uncover and stir the oats; add more milk if you prefer a creamier texture.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Freezing is also an option for up to 2 months. Reheat if desired but it's great served cold.
