Preparation
- Spray your slow cooker with nonstick spray or use a liner.
- Add the little smokies to the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, stir together honey, ketchup, soy sauce, and garlic. Mix in optional heat if desired.
- Pour the sauce over the smokies and stir to coat.
- Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours or on high for 1 to 1.5 hours. Stir occasionally.
- Once hot throughout and the sauce appears glossy, switch to warm for serving.
Notes
Serve in the slow cooker on warm with toothpicks. Optional toppings: sesame seeds or sliced green onions. Adjust sweetness and saltiness to taste. Can be prepped ahead of time and refrigerated before cooking.
