  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1/4 cup green onions for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix all ingredients until they are well blended, ensuring the cream cheese is smooth.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  5. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until the dip is bubbly and lightly golden on top.
  6. Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. If desired, garnish with chopped green onions and serve with tortilla chips or crackers.

Notes

This dip pairs wonderfully with tortilla chips, pita chips, or fresh vegetable sticks. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days, or freeze for 2-3 months. Reheat carefully to preserve texture.
