Method
Preparation
- Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Stir until the crumbs are completely coated, then pour into the springform pan and press down firmly to create a solid crust.
- Bake the crust for about 10 minutes until lightly golden, then remove it and let it cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy (2-3 minutes).
- Divide the cream cheese mixture into three bowls: keep one plain, add orange food coloring to the second, and yellow food coloring to the third. Mix until well integrated.
Layering and Chilling
- Spoon the yellow mixture over the cooled crust and spread evenly, then chill for about 30 minutes.
- Repeat with the orange mixture, followed by chilling for the same time; finish with the plain mixture on top and smooth it out.
- Cover the pan with plastic wrap and chill the entire cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
Garnishing
- Once set, gently remove the cheesecake from the springform pan and garnish with white chocolate curls and candy corn before slicing.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Cream cheese should be at room temperature for smooth mixing. Allow each layer to chill properly to avoid a lopsided cheesecake. Store the cheesecake in the fridge tightly covered for up to 5 days or freeze for 2-3 months.
