Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef for about 6-7 minutes until no pink remains, stirring occasionally. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the taco seasoning and 3 tablespoons of water to the skillet with the beef. Reduce heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Spread tortilla chips on the lined baking sheet. Scatter seasoned beef, black beans, and 1 cup of shredded cheese over the chips. Top with the remaining cheese.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Top the nachos with pico de gallo, jalapeño, dollops of sour cream, and guacamole. Add black olives and fresh cilantro for garnish. Serve hot.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For freezing, they can be kept for up to 2 months. Reheat on the stovetop or microwave, but beware of soggy chips.
