  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Can use avocado oil for a higher smoke point.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust based on taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Add red pepper flakes for heat, if desired.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Trim the ends and halve the Brussels sprouts, rinsing them under cool water before patting dry.
Making the Glaze
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Coating and Roasting
  1. Add the halved Brussels sprouts to the bowl with the glaze and toss until fully coated.
  2. Spread the coated Brussels sprouts onto the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  3. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through.
Serving
  1. Remove from oven once caramelized and tender, and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat on stovetop or in the microwave in short increments.
