  • 2 cups mini pretzel twists Use fresh, crisp pretzels for the best texture.
  • 2 cups toasted oat cereal (such as Cheerios) Can substitute with corn or rice cereal.
  • 1 1/2 cups roasted salted peanuts Or substitute with almonds, cashews, or sunflower seeds.
  • 1 cup candy-coated chocolate candies (such as M&M's) Use Halloween colors if available.
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chip cookies or broken cookie pieces Opt for mini cookies for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup raisins or dried cranberries Can substitute with dried cherries or blueberries.
  • 1/2 cup candy corn A classic Halloween addition.
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips Can be replaced with butterscotch chips or left out.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by placing a very large mixing bowl on the counter.
  2. Add the pretzels, toasted oat cereal, peanuts, candy-coated chocolates, cookie pieces, raisins or dried cranberries, candy corn, and white chocolate chips to the bowl, spreading it evenly.
  3. Using clean hands or a large spoon, gently toss all the ingredients together until they are evenly mixed.
  4. Once everything is mixed, serve in a large bowl or divide into snack-sized treat bags.
  5. Store leftovers in an airtight container or sealed bags at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

Make sure all dry ingredients are fresh for the best texture. Avoid stirring too hard to keep the mix from breaking apart.
