  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice Lemon juice can be used if limes are not available.
  • 1/2 tsp salt Adjust to taste after mixing.
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 clove garlic, minced Can use garlic powder for a gentler flavor.
  • 4-6 pieces pitted black olives, sliced, for eyes Used for decoration.
  • to taste pieces Tortilla chips, for serving Also pairs well with veggie sticks or crackers.

Method

Preparation
  1. Scoop the avocado flesh into a large bowl. Use a fork to mash them to your preferred texture, whether chunky or smooth.
  2. Add the finely diced red onion, minced jalapeno, chopped cilantro, fresh lime juice, salt, ground cumin, and minced garlic. Stir everything gently but thoroughly until well combined.
  3. Taste the guacamole and adjust seasoning with more salt or lime juice as needed.
Presentation
  1. Transfer the guacamole into a serving bowl and smooth the surface with the back of a spoon.
  2. Arrange slices of pitted black olives in clusters on top to resemble googly monster eyes.
Serving
  1. Serve your monster guacamole immediately with tortilla chips for dipping, or store it covered tightly in the fridge for up to one day.

Notes

Keep guacamole covered tightly in the fridge to prevent browning. Use plastic wrap pressed directly on the surface for best results.
