Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent dough from the cans and lay it flat on a counter or cutting board.
  3. Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut the dough into thin strips, about a half-inch thick.
Assembly and Baking
  1. Wrap the dough strips around each hot dog in a criss-cross pattern, leaving a small gap at the top.
  2. Arrange the wrapped hot dogs on a lined baking sheet, ensuring space between each.
  3. Bake in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
Final Touches
  1. Remove the mummies from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  2. Use a small dab of mustard to create little eyes in the gaps at the top.

Notes
