Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 package Nutter Butter cookies Look for fresh, intact cookies.
  • 2 cups white chocolate melting wafers Melt slowly to avoid burning.
  • Black gel icing or mini chocolate chips for eyes Choose for decorating.

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by placing the white chocolate melting wafers in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat them in the microwave in 20-second bursts, stirring thoroughly between each interval, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
  2. Once the chocolate is melted, take a Nutter Butter cookie and use a fork to dip it into the melted chocolate. Make sure the cookie is fully coated, then gently lift it out, allowing any excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl.
  3. As you dip each cookie, place them carefully on a sheet of parchment paper. This will help prevent sticking once the chocolate hardens.
  4. While the chocolate is still wet, use black gel icing to add two small dots for the eyes or gently press in the mini chocolate chips. This is where your ghost can take on personality!
  5. Leave the decorated cookies at room temperature to set completely. This typically takes around 20 minutes but can vary depending on your kitchen conditions.
  6. Once the cookies have set, they are ready to serve or be stored in an airtight container.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or freeze for 2-3 months. Let frozen cookies come to room temperature before serving.
