Ingredients

For the Marinade
  • 1.5 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1/4 cup Pinot Grigio
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 zest of lemon
  • Fresh dill
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, whisk together the Pinot Grigio, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade, ensuring each piece is evenly coated. Let them marinate for 20 minutes at room temperature.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. After marinating, thread the shrimp onto skewers, leaving a little space between each shrimp.
Cooking
  1. Place the shrimp on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until they turn pink and opaque.
  2. Once cooked, remove the shrimp from the grill and garnish them with fresh dill. Serve immediately.

Notes

Tips for selection: For the best results, choose fresh, firm shrimp. If using frozen shrimp, ensure they are properly thawed before marinating. Be cautious not to overcook the shrimp, and keep enough space between each piece on the skewers.
