Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 500°F with a pizza stone, or 450°F if using a regular baking sheet.
  2. Mix lukewarm water, yeast, and honey in a bowl and let sit for about 10 minutes until foamy.
  3. Stir in flour and salt until a dough forms. If sticky, add more flour gradually.
  4. Knead the dough on parchment, then let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
Baking the Crust
  1. Roll the rested dough thin on parchment and par-bake for about 4 minutes until set but not browned.
Adding Layers
  1. Combine pumpkin puree, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and salt in a bowl and spread over the crust.
  2. Mix flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon for the streusel, then cut in cold butter until sandy.
  3. Sprinkle the streusel evenly over the pumpkin layer.
Final Bake and Drizzle
  1. Bake at 400°F for about 15 minutes until streusel is golden.
  2. While it bakes, whisk the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk to create a glaze.
  3. Drizzle the glaze over the pizza once it comes out of the oven and let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Pairs well with coffee, chai tea, or warm apple cider. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream for a fuller dessert spread. Store leftovers in the refrigerator up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
