- In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, and pumpkin pie spice for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the whole milk and whisk well. Heat gently for 3 to 4 minutes until steaming, being careful not to boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Optional: Blend the milk mixture with a frother or blender for a frothy latte.
Brew and Serve
- Prepare your espresso or strong coffee and pour it into a mug.
- Pour the hot pumpkin spice milk over the coffee.
- Top with whipped cream, if desired, and sprinkle extra pumpkin pie spice on top. Serve immediately.
Notes
Store any leftover pumpkin milk base in the fridge for up to 3 days. For freezing, keep in a freezer-safe container for up to 1 month.
