Ingredients
  

For the Marinade
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Can substitute with avocado or melted coconut oil.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic recommended for flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano Fresh oregano can be used instead.
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme Fresh thyme is a great alternative.
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Place the chicken in a resealable bag or shallow dish.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it's evenly coated. Seal the bag tightly or cover the dish with plastic wrap.
  4. Refrigerate the chicken for at least 30 minutes, but ideally for a couple of hours or overnight.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your grill or oven to the desired temperature.
  2. Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess liquid to drain.
  3. Cook the chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Serving
  1. Serve the chicken with your favorite sides and enjoy a delicious meal.
