  • 4 bags Green tea bags Quality green tea without additives for best flavor.
  • 2 medium Fresh peaches Ripe and juicy peaches, sliced.
  • 1 cup Fresh mint leaves Fresh mint leaves for flavor.
  • 1-2 tablespoons Honey or sugar Optional sweetener to taste.
  • 4 cups Water For brewing the tea.
  • Ice Ice For serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by boiling the water for the green tea. Once boiling, steep the green tea bags for 2 to 3 minutes and allow to cool.
  2. While the tea cools, wash the fresh peaches thoroughly and slice them into thin wedges. Rinse the mint leaves and gently pat dry.
  3. In a pitcher, combine the cooled green tea with the peach slices and mint leaves. Add honey or sugar if using, and gently stir to mix.
  4. Cover the pitcher and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Serve over ice, garnished with additional peach slices and mint leaves.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Can be frozen in ice cube trays for later use.
